International Photography Awards Announces Category Winners of the 2014 Competition

The International Photography Awards competition (IPA) on September 30, 2014 announced Category Winners of 2014 Competition.

This year, IPA received over 27,000 thousand submissions from 104 countries across the globe and is pleased to declare that Larry Tho Dao was awarded Silver Medal in the 2014 People Category of the International Photography Awards (IPA) Competition for the winning entry "Casting Net". 

About Larry Tho Dao
Mr. Dao was born in Saigon, South of Vietnam. Grew up in a big city, Mr. Dao among others absorbed and admired great photography works from the masters all over the world. Photography transcended time that inspired Mr. Dao to appreciate and deeply involved in the art. Living in America, Mr. Dao was touched and emotional to images about his home country, people, and the world of light in a whole new way. His artistic photographs have won many prizes in the international photography competitions. Here are a few winning awards out of 21 recognized  titles by FIAP, PSA, and other countries that Mr. Dao achieved in 2014 and 2015.

     'A Worked Day’, gold medal 2014 Digital Light Room Photography competition.

     'Best Friends', gold medal 2014, International Photography competition, France.

     'Convict Lake', gold medal 2014, Swiss International Photography competition.

     'Two Fishermen', gold medal 2015, Serbia International Photography competition,

     ‘Casting Net’, silver medal 2014 International Photography Awards.

     'The Sunset', silver medal 2015 PX3, France.

     'Floating Market', bronze medal 2014 PSA International, Montenegro.

     'A Moment of Me', bronze medal 2014 PSA International, Montenegro.

     'Braiding Hair', special jury award 2015, Bangladesh.

At work, Mr. Dao is a Chief of Engineers specialized in a worldwide computer networking and software development. He traveled the world to meet his clients. His goals are too many but one of them is to achieve his professional passion in photography. His talent showed off in pictures about real life, travel, and landscape. Mr. Dao quoted, "If it's beautiful, let's imprint it in our memory by a simple click."
